GIG 280: Charlie’s Angels – Camden Palace, 30th April 1996

Charlie’s Angels were a short-lived indie-pop band in the mid-90’s. They released three singles, an album, and a compilation album and managed to get on some TV shows and even supported PJ & Duncan (better known these days as TV personalities Ant & Dec) at The Royal Albert Hall. I had their singles – one of which I’m sure came in a bright pink fluffy sleeve – and quite enjoyed them. So it was an extra bonus for me that they were playing Feet First at Camden Palace.

I’m glad I saw them, and this was to be the only time I did, as they were pretty good live, certainly better than average but not in the ‘would rush to see live again’ category.
