It’d been just over year since we’d been at The Forum watching The Australian Doors for the first time (GIG 132). Given how much we enjoyed them first time round we had snapped up tickets to see them again.

The support band, Black Fat Cat I believe they were called really underwhelmed me. I’m not sure what they were like but my notes really didn’t rate them. But then Stig, Tina, Sue and myself were there for the Lizard King – or atleast the closest we were ever going to get to seeing Jim Morrison and The Doors live.

The Australian Doors put on, once again, a great performance with hit after hit from The Doors… and also strangely the occaisonal non-Doors track such as Led Zepellin’s “Stairway To Heaven”, which I’ve found a video of them doing.
