One of my dream line-ups. Creaming Jesus AND Judda – two of my favourite live bands playing the Ballroom on a Tuesday night. Unbeknown to me at the time this was to be the last time I saw Creaming Jesus live as they split up later in the year. Which was a shame on so many levels, not least as they were still kicking ass and taking no prisoners at their shows.
A whole crowd of us were at the Ballroom for the gig, and presumably a club night as we were there until passed 2am. Judda were their usual brilliant anarchic selves and put on a great set. Creaming Jesus, whom I’d not seen for over year, were just as good as I remembered them.
They had such a great catalog of tracks, and a fantastic raw energy live, and I’d have dearly loved to have seen them again.
