GIG 173: Judda / Split Pigs – The Underworld, 4th June 1994

Finally seeing Judda again, and this time at The Underworld which is their biggest headline to date. It’s Saturday and I’d been working all day, but a quick pitstop home to freshen up and change, and then jumping on the tube to Camden and I’m all ready and excited for an evening of good music in the company of Michael, Sue and a couple of other friends.

Split Pigs, the first band on, weren’t all that great. They were ok, and far from the worst band I’d ever seen, but something didn’t do it for me.

Judda, on the other hand, were great and put on a fantastic set full of their raw energy, anarchy, and chaos. Just what was needed after a full week of work!
