I had previously seen Zodiac Mindwarp & The Love Reaction back in 1992 at The Town & Country Club in Kentish Town (GIG 097). I’d actually forgotten I saw them again at this gig a couple of years later – and at the much smaller Marquee. I’d have thought that seeing them at a small venue would have been great – especially as I enjoyed them before and was a fan of their “Tattooed Beat Messiah” album.

But they came across as distinctly average for some reason on this occasion. Better than the two support bands, Black Maria and Peer Pressure, both of whom were ‘ok’ according to my notes but I have no recollection of at all. That said, given I can’t actually remember even seeing Zodiac Mindwarp at this gig I’m not really surprised I don’t remember the supports either.

I went with Sue, Francesca and Paul (from Cries of Tammuz). No idea if any of them can remember the gig. May have to ask sometime ;p
