Rose of Avalanche were one of the first goth bands I ever saw live (supporting Ghost Dance back in 1988 – GIG005) and I tried to see them as often as I could as they were brilliant live and were one of the more under-rated bands around the scene at the time.
By this time I’d picked up a few of their albums and EPs (which I really need to burn from vinyl to MP3 as I only have one of their CD’s and only one of their albums is available on Spotify). so know a lot of their tracks. They played a good set, which was good because the two support bands – Mass in particular – weren’t fantastic.
