The Trudy changed quite a bit over the years. Originally formed in 1979 as a post-punk band, including members of The Cardiacs, the band underwent a few line-up and sound changes over the years up to their last release in 2016.

I’d never heard of The Trudy, apart from in passing in some of the music papers, but they were the midnight band at Feet First at The Camden Palace and I saw a bunch of bands I didn’t really know, or listen to, at the club over the years.

I can’t remember much about them live, but I thought they were good according to my old notes. It was another Tuesday night at Camden Palace, what more can I say :p
