Traveller Supplement by Paul Elliott / Mongoose Publishing
A Classic Traveller supplement in a Little Black Book format!
Star Trader is a solo add-on for Classic Traveller. Captain your ship and your crew, and travel from world-to-world buying cargoes as cheaply as possible and selling them elsewhere at a profit. But this is Traveller, not ‘fantasy stocks and shares’ and the great appeal of solo gaming is the interaction with Traveller’s high technology, its starships, exotic planets and interesting NPCs.
This Little Black Book fills the player’s journey through the cosmos with random events and encounters, putting the ship and crew into predicaments that need to be resolved before the game can continue. Included are detailed ship encounter tables, event tables for time in jumpspace, and encounter tables for travel and trade at the starport. Advice is provided for pursuing side-jobs on a world, all with the solo mechanics you need.
Finally, a deckplan of the type A free trader is included, in the classic Gunboats and Shuttles format.
