The fortress of the Panopticon looms over the Dusk Empire, the seat of its intelligence service and the nexus of its supernatural surveillance apparatus. It is whispered that inside it resides a huge magical brain, an overmind that controls all the scrying eyes and directs all the vile spies that observe and oversee every corner of the realm.

And what they see today is that every corner of the realm is burning red with flames of rebellion.  Scrying eyes shot out of the sky, blackguards driven from the villages to hole up in their fortress, and thousands of angry ordinary people converging on the Panopticon, ready to breach its seemingly impregnable walls.

You and your brave companions are among them, ready to storm the bastion of tyranny, free its prisoners and destroy its masters once and for all. Let freedom ring and the overmind tremble in fear, for now there is no turning back –  only forward to heroic death or eternal glory!
