Faith No More was probably my mate Nick’s favourite band, and had been for years. We’d long spoken about seeing them so when they came back to London Nick, Dawn, Simon, Matt, Angela and myself ended up at The Forum in Kentish Town with high expectations. Especially as they were playing a series of ‘smaller’ venues as this was a European ‘mini-pre-tour’ in support of their forthcoming ‘King For A Day… Fool For A Lifetime” album.
The support band was a New Zeland band called Shihad, who were quite good.
Faith No More however rocked, and rocked hard. Angel Dust is still one of my favourite albums and although this was a ‘pre-tour’ for their ‘King For A Day… Fool For A Lifetime” album that didn’t stop them from playing a lot of their past hits including We Care A Lot, Epic, Be Agressive, Real Thing, Easy, From Out Of Nowhere and so on.
They were brilliant and definitely a band I’m reccomend catching live if you ever get the opportunity.
