Heavy Gear RPG Fourth Edition Scenario by Dream Pod 9
Ever wanted to become a landsailor? Here’s a better question: do you know what it’s like to see an array of maglev drives, each the size of city blocks, as they lift a full battlecruiser and let it glide across the desert? Sure, there’s a lot of dust and dirt and filth on that cruiser, but what a view! New Breed: Director’s Cut gives you and your group the chance to do just that. This re-designed and expanded edition of the original New Breed campaign setting takes players aboard as crew on the Northern Vigilance or the Southern Draco. Witness the Interpolar War from the deck of a landcarrier as your crew engages enemy patrols, investigates suspicious characters in your fleet, and works to keep your landship afloat as you face bombardment and a cat-and-mouse chase from hostile naval forces.
THE NEW BREED DIRECTOR’S CUT INCLUDES:
- Over 60 scenarios across two campaigns. Join the CNCS Vigilance or the AST Draco as they deploy and carry out missions during the Interpolar War.
- Campaign seeds and bonus materials for a third Leagueless campaign setting.
- A full naval compendium with complete weapons and systems overviews, allowing you to create your own naval campaigns and landship conflicts.
- Detailed regiment overviews and deck plans for the Vigilance and the Draco, showcasing the life and politics aboard each massive ship.
- Full-color scenario maps and updated deck maps for the Vigilance and the Draco, breathing more life into the aging ships.
- Plus a zipped folder of the maps saved as png files in the downloads.
New Breed: Director’s Cut remasters and adds content to the original New Breed campaign with detailed scenario maps and additional campaign scenarios inspired by the first Heavy Gear video game. Both the CNCS and AST campaigns now feature over twice as many campaign scenarios for a rich and extensive campaign!
Requires the Heavy Gear RPG 4th Edition Rulebook and a few d6 dice to play, not included.
The New Breed Director’s Cut is available through DriveThruRPG in Print and DF.
