Dungeon Crawl Classics Scenario by Aerzyk Thomas
Deep in the swamp between the Two Cities lies a ruined crossroads town. A team was sent out to restore the ruins, but all have gone missing. Now, the second team has been sent to investigate and carry on the work, only to find the apparition of one Saint Grigna. She warns the team of the imminent escape of the Defiler, and to beware the machinations of its agents: members of the Order of the Scaled Infernal.
Now the workers must brave the deadly beasts, demons, and hazards of the swamp to banish the threat of these demonic scaled entities so that the reclamation of the ruins can continue. Saint Grigna does not leave them to do this on wits alone, and tells them of relics that can aid the workers in their quest, if they’re brave enough to claim them. Hopefully, with a bit of luck, a light can be shed to rid the swamp of the Shadow of the Scaled Infernal!
Featuring new magic items, a complex boss fight, interesting monsters, tips for running the adventure in a short or long time slot, Shadow of the Scaled Infernal is made to be a zero-level funnel or first level adventure for your Dungeon Crawl Classics party.
