Call of Cthulhu / Pulp Cthulhu Campaign by Miskatonic Repository / Chaosium
They buried the Engine beneath the coast for a reason. Someone has restarted it.
Lancashire, England. 1934.
A violent explosion at Liverpool docks draws the heroes into a conspiracy involving missing military equipment, a secret organisation and a classified wartime project thought abandoned fifteen years ago.
The trail leads north, through hidden railway lines, sealed military installations and facilities buried beneath the Lancashire coast.
Deep below the Irish Sea, the Black Tide Engine is running again.
And nobody truly understands what it does.
The Black Tide Engine is a four-act mini-campaign for Pulp Cthulhu, combining investigation, industrial horror and high-action adventure for 3–5 heroes, providing approximately 20–25 hours of play.
Includes six pre-generated heroes, player handouts, maps, plans and Keeper reference material.
The Engine is running. There may still be time to stop it.
