Mythras Destined Scenario by The Design Mechanism
A new designer drug, SynK, conveys superpowers on the hyper-rich. Demand for the drug is very high, even though its use carries unimaginable risks. As the player characters investigate a SynK-related death, they encounter dangerous adversaries: surf Nazis, vicious mobsters, corrupt police, rival drug gangs, and above all, the brilliant, criminal mastermind responsible for the discovery and distribution of SynK throughout Gemelos City.
Deeper mysteries lie at the heart of SynK’s creation as The Lost, a group of hidden powerful extranormals, send a shapeshifting assassin to eradicate every trace of the drug’s ultimate source. Will they help the players in their investigation, or work to destroy them too?
Dreams of Lost Children is an investigative, street-level adventure for Destined
with a strong focus on storytelling and mystery.
The scenario has a cinematic, five-act narrative structure, revealing a complex multilayered story designed to challenge both Players and Game Masters. An appendix describes how to use the Lost in future gameplay.
