On a hot and cloudless morning, lightning strikes the ensorcelled pillars atop Broken Crown Bastion. The manticore bandit lord will soon return, but not before his captives—gearless, 0-level bastards—face an even greater evil . . .
Will they escape in time?
This easy-to-run one-page dungeon challenges player characters to escape a bandit tower overrun by a death cult. To succeed, they will have to avoid innumerable causes of death:
- Manticore spines
- Soul drain
- Zombie claws
- Snake bite (now with free venom!)
- Good ol’ stabby stab
- Electrocution
- Impalement by a thousand bones
- Wizard smoke
- Wasp sting (also with free venom!)
- Turning down disembodied voices
- Smashed by a one-ton battering ram
