Site 17 emergency notice: The anomaly Ribbon has escaped its containment. If you’ve experienced loss of memory, you were contaminated by it.
The Ribbon spreads to information-dense matter, corrupting and eventually controlling it. Approach contaminated electronics and creatures with caution, neutralizing them with a radiation pistol. The anomaly is visible through this wristband’s visor. The lockdown persists until the anomaly is contained.
Other anomalies might have also escaped. Contain them.
Outbreak at Site 17 is a stacked two-page brochure, compatible with the Mothership Sci-Fi Horror RPG 1e. Intended as a one-shot adventure, but can be added as a job or location for any campaign.
The crew wakes up amnesiac in the secret research. There is a corrupting anomaly on the loose, corrupting and taking control of everything it can on the site. Save the staff, neutralize the threat, contain any escaped anomalies, and do all this without getting contaminated. This adventure is inspired by SCP’s and There Is No Antimemetics Division by qntm.
