In Nocturnal, hauntings are not random supernatural events. They are symptoms of deeper Patterns repeating beneath reality itself. Trauma, memory, obsession, routine, belief, and unresolved systems can become trapped in repetition until reality begins expressing the consequences.

Your job is to stop the Pattern before it spreads.

Uncover the Anchor binding it to the world. Identify the Feed sustaining it. Discover the Trigger causing it to manifest. Survive escalating supernatural pressure long enough to understand the Pattern and decide how to end it.

Every intervention has consequences.

Stress fractures the mind. Exposure threatens your ordinary life. Attention draws the notice of institutions and things watching from the dark. Corruption changes what you are becoming.

The goal is not victory.

The goal is resolution.
