Welcome to Erebus Mythos, a folk horror tabletop roleplaying game, where the line between myth and reality blurs dangerously. It is designed for use with Shadowdark RPG.
Rooted in authentic Greek folklore and inspired by real historical accounts, Erebus Mythos draws upon tales of vampyres, ancient beings, and other horrors whispered about for generations. Yet folklore is universal. No prior knowledge of Greek history, mythology, or culture is required, as everything needed to explore this world is contained within these pages.
This book includes:
- Erebus Mythos: Vampyr, a full- length folk horror adventure for 3-6 players
- Erebus Mythos: Chymera, an introductory one-shot adventure
- New classes, backgrounds, and rules inspired by nineteenth-century Greece
- Custom folk horror mechanics that bring superstition, fear, and folklore to life
- Creatures and legends drawn from Greek folklore, including the infamous Vrykolakas.
