Freeport One is a trade station meant to serve as a hub of commerce and center for administrative oversight. It provides a place to meet, resupply, and conduct business of all sorts. At nearly 700 feet in diameter, the ring section is two levels high and divided between sectors for residents, government, and transients (or visitors). Each sector has similar housing, entertainment, and service areas, and then a few spaces unique to that arc, including a clinic, casino, and detention center. 

The station maintains a small fleet of passenger shuttles to bring people aboard, with variants for medical and law enforcement purposes, plus service drones. There are both public and private shuttle bays, and also external docking points (and weapon emplacements) at the end of each pylon. Standard occupancy is 30 to 50 crew and 150 to 200 residents and visitors.

The station ring is constructed of three similar sectors. Each is identical except for a few key areas. The maps depict the Transit sector by default, with overlays for the Residential and Government sectors where applicable. The maps are at 1 inch = 5 feet scale and have a 1-inch grid built in; perfect for Starfinder and other science fiction RPGs. 

The Freeport One issue contains several highly detailed PDF files and images:

• Main Book
     – 32 page PDF file detailing the interior areas of the station
     – Contains 3D rendered scenes as well as orthographic views.
     – Background, art, and text are on different layers for custom display and printing.

• Map Pages
    – 79 page PDF file containing complete interior maps at 1 inch = 5 ft scale.
    – Divided into pages for printing.
    – Selectable layers include a 1-inch grid and optional cargo/vehicles.

• Uncut Map Images

     – Four big, layered PDF files containing images of the deckplans (36×42, 36×33, 26×36, 26×35).
     – Also includes jpeg versions on a dark background for better VTT use.

• Starfinder 1E Statistics
    – Freeport  is tier 15 using the bulk freighter frame with the station modification
