The Beekeeper is a game of deduction for a single player.
Worthington Estate is on a huge acreage with hundreds of beehives. Generations of wealthy owners have come and gone from the mansion over the years. Elenor, the widow of the founder John Worthington, watches you from her window, keeping a close eye on the bees. One day she dies under slightly suspicious circumstances. In her last Will and Testament, she leaves you in charge of the investigation.
You discover a letter in one of the hive boxes that requires you to go on a scavenger hunt to find further clues.
You will interview everyone that is a suspect, or who was around Elenor at her time of her death.
Gather clues, ask questions, follow the evidence. Money, Honey, Catacombs and Luxury homes.
You will first create your character sheet. Then you will read through the story and follow the prompts. At times you will be asked to choose an option and read the outcome. Other times you will be asked to roll a dice and add a skill or attribute. Along the way you will write down any clues or information you deem worthy and at the end of the book you will be asked to guess who the murderer is. If you aren’t sure, replay the book and choose different options.
A six-sided dice is required to play this game.
