The Price of Arrogance

7th Sea RPG Campaign by Studio Agate

This book, written by the Studio who produce the 3rd Edition of 7th Sea is an epic 310 pages campaign made up of ten scenarios!

Léon Alexandre de Montaigne has called on all brave men and women, of all origins and professions, to set sail for the New World as soon as possible. Whoever is the first to bring him back an object worthy of Montaigne’s magnificence will receive titles of nobility, land, a position in the government and—the most rare—a favor. An imperial favor!

The Price of Arrogance is a major campaign for 7th Sea Second Edition. It is structured into three acts, each with its own identity, atmosphere, and narrative unity.

• Act 1, The Wind Rises, takes place mainly in Montaigne, where the Heroes quickly realize that they are the center of considerable attention…
• Act 2, A Hornets’ Nest, brings the Heroes to a colony on the Atabean Sea. Here, they face particularly powerful opponents who will stop at nothing to defeat them.
• Act 3, The Far Side of the World, unfolds in the New World. Heroes are closer than ever to their goal, but Aztlan is a mysterious continent full of surprises.

Different “modes” are offered, allowing a focus on distinct atmospheres: the supernatural, conspiracies and the darker side of humanity, or science and Syrneth artifacts.

This book contains all the narrative elements you need to set up the story. However, it is not a standalone product: to use it, you will need the 7th Sea Core Rulebook, Second Edition (for the rules and setting description).

The Price of Arrogance is available through DriveThruRPG in PDF.
