A prophecy has been made. An ancient darkness is stirring. And you are the only ones who can stop it.
The mist has held the forgotten island of Fellholm captive for centuries. It is a prison, created by the last sages in order to pacify a terrible monster – Drauginn, a demon of fire and shadows. But all of the other inhabitants of this haunted island are also held prisoner by this mist. Ingrunn, the last seeress, prophesied that one day, heroes from a far-off land would come to Fellholm to break the curse.
Now it seems the prophecy may soon be fulfilled. You are a group of outsiders who have landed on the island, and with your arrival the fate of the island is approaching a crossroad. The only way to dispel the mist is with the same ancient artifacts that put the demon into its magical sleep. In order to find them, you will need to correctly interpret the seere’ prophecy, seek out forgotten places, and defy the demonic Hraun cult who want to set Drauginn free.
Mist and Fire is an epic adventure for the legendary roleplaying game Dragonbane. In this adventure you will explore the misty isle, encounter mysterious creatures, and be faced with fateful decisions. Will you find the artifacts in time – or will you be consumed by Drauginn’s terrifying power?
