They also venture to alien worlds such as Apokolips and New Genesis, facing threats ranging from the anarchic chaos of The Joker to the cosmic tyranny of Darkseid.

For nearly a century, we have followed their adventures across comic books. However, it’s time to embark on a new journey and experience the DC universe on a whole different level.

With Justice League Unlimited RPG, we are elevating our work to new heights. We are designing an original and bold system that will redefine your interaction with the greatest superhero universe of all time.

This officially licensed DC TTRPG features legendary creator Mark Waid as writer/artist and creative consultant, built on an innovative gaming system developed in Brazil by D20 Culture.

Justice League Unlimited RPG invites players to forge their own legends within the expansive DC universe. Players can either create a unique hero or assume the identity of established characters.

The game is set in a universe influenced by Amanda Waller‘s actions in the DC comic book series Absolute Power. After a series of battles, the Justice League transformed, becoming an “Unlimited” version. Operating from a new satellite called the Watchtower, the organization now welcomes all heroes from around the world.

JLU RPG is a narrative-driven game that emphasizes the importance of historyThe system is designed as a tool to facilitate the creation of heroic sagas, fostering interpretation and collaboration between players and the Editor. Typically, the game unfolds as a conversation, where you narrate the epic deeds of your heroes.

Even as a narrative game, your hero’s evolution is measured by two pillars:

Power Tiers: The heroes progress through Tiers that represent their power and influence level in the universe, going from Tier D (Year One), the level of a beginner vigilante, until Tier S (Cosmic Guardian), the level of the greatest of the League. Each Tier unlocks new power limits, bonus and greater challenges.

Ascension Points (PAX): By the end of each Edition (the game session), the heroes receive PAX that work as currency points in the game. You spend PAX to increase your Attributes, buy new Powers or elevate the Grade they already have, acquire new Knowledge or Traits that define your identity. This progression is tangible, allowing you to feel your hero becoming a true legend after each gameplay.

Being a hero goes beyond defeating villains. In the JLU RPG, the narrative revolves into the responsibility of bearing the hero’s mantle. In the beginning, you’ll answer five fundamental questions, the League’s “Tacit Clauses,” which will define your character’s moral code.

Introductory Adventure: “Lines of Defense”Metropolis is under siege. Cyborg Superman (Hank Henshaw) has invaded with an army of Eradicators. While the primary Justice League engages Henshaw directly, the players must act as rookie heroes to contain the chaos, while all that happens, the villain Parasite is taking advantage of the invasion to drain energy blackouts across the city.
