Tales from the Locker: Issue 1

Pirate Borg Zine by SkeletonKey Games

Tales from the Locker is THE ongoing Pirate Borg compatible anthology zine, a place where cursed maps, dangerous ideas, and half-buried legends are pulled from the depths and dropped straight into your campaign.

In our premier issue you will find…

The Cartographer’s Den by Alexander Jatscha-Zelt: Nathaniel Pellwick is known by crews across the Dark Caribbean as a master cartographer. His shop makes an excellent recurring location for any campaign and his recent acquisition of The Map has made him more popular than ever with his friends and enemies.

The Isle of 1000 Corpses by Philip Reed: Whispers of a foul island of the dead have circulated throughout the Dark Caribbean for years. Composed of thousands of corpses intertwined like a flotilla of ants, this island has been given “life” by cultists. The horrific island moves about the ocean, powered by the flailing limbs of the undead that lie below the waterline.

Temple of the Spider God by Lars White: Deep in the jungle lies a crumbling temple, its gods lost to memory. Tales are all that remain, whispering of pirates and treasure hunters being devoured or driven away in terror by the eight-legged evil lurking in its shadows.

Ash Fall by Julius “kin” Karajos: An ASH meteor has crashed into the jungle and things are getting stranger by the day as its influence gets stronger. Ash Fall is a dynamic adventure location that changes over time as factions rush to secure the fallen resource.

Quartermaster’s Corner by Tyler J. Stratton: Meet Two-Tone Heller, an experienced quartermaster who can flip from jovial leader to harsh disciplinarian at the drop of a chicken’s foot. This in depth NPC is accompanied by tables for Problems Among the Crew and Crew Punishments.

And More: A trio of new classes (Ironclad, Occult Sailing Master, and Tusked Raider) and useful tables for adding plot twists and mysterious notes to your games.

Tales from the Locker: Issue 1 is available through DriveThruRPG in PDF.
