It was a Friday night double bill. A gig at The Underworld to see James Rays Gangwar followed by heading across the street to Full Tilt at the Electric Ballroom for a night of goth/industrial clubbing into the wee hours of Saturday.
This was the fourth time I was seeing James Ray and every time he was fantastic. For those who only know him from The Sisterhood EP I really suggest checking out some of his albums as James Rays Gangwar or James Ray & The Performance. Quite a few of us made it to the gig on this occaasion (and most of us continued on to the club afterwards) so it was a nice evening with friends as well as great music.
I’d not heard Sins of the Flesh II before. I knew the name but that was about it. They didn’t make much of an impression on me and although I certainly recognise the name I can’t actually recall anything about them at all.
