Thursday night and a double Borderline bill of a gig and then the Borderline’s Rockit Club. The gig was for goth band Altered States and one of my favourite bands Dream City Film Club.

Having seen Dream City Film Club for the first time back in May (GIG 283) this was now the third time I saw them. They were the main reason why I headed to this gig and they didn’t disappoint one bit. I’m not sure I saw a bad Dream City Film Club performance.

I can’t remember much of Altered States. I’d known the name as they’d been round the goth scene since the mid-80’s, but they weren’t a band I’d ever really listened to, nor had ever seen live before. They were ok, but definitely the second act of the night for me by some margin.
