Welcome to #RPGaDAY2022! Now in its ninth year, #RPGaDAY was originally created by RPG author and games designer David Chapman (Conspiracy X, Doctor Who, etc) as a bit of fun and to get people talking about tabletop roleplaying games. August was chosen, I believe, to coincide with tabletop roleplaying’s gaming mecca that is Gen Con – which usually takes place in the States (Inidanapolis these days) every August.

Day 12 : Why did you start RPGing?

I was already reading fantasy adventure solo gamebooks and loved fantasy, sci-fi, legends and mythology, not to mentioned I loved board and card games and writing my stories. So when I was told about roleplaying games it was a natural step and a complete no-brainer for me to have a game. It was also pretty obvious given everything else I enjoyed at the time that I’d love it. Which I did.
