After seeing Norways ‘The Stage Dolls’ supporting Fish the previous weekend at Hammersmith Odeon I decided to see them at their own headlining show at The Marquee. I can’t actually remember much about this gig, although the Stage Dolls were apparently very good (I actually preferred them to Fish when I saw them previously too) and they were supported by a band called Protocol who were pretty average. In a weird coincidence years later (14+) I saw another band called Protocol live who one of my flatmates ex’s was in (completely different band) who were getting some TV and radio play but then dissolved in to nothing.
