The FASERIP system was first published in the Marvel Super Heroes RPG from TSR in 1984, and supplemented by the Marvel Superheroes Advanced Game in 1986. It was designed to be an easy and flexible rule system allowing for all levels of play from street level to cosmic, becoming a very popular system. The system is still in print through various retro-clones and has an active online community.
