Temple of Spite

Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay Supplement by Cubicle 7 Entertainment

A Black Ark, Titanic War Vessel of the Dark Elves, and its Crew of Corsairs and Other Monstrosities

The dark elves inhabit Naggaroth, where their Dread King Malerion commands rule of the harsh, frozen realm. Since the Sundering, when elves began to fight their civil war in earnest, Malerion’s followers have raged against betrayal, turning to the worship of cruel gods and the rites of dark magic to survive and strike their enemies.

The Black Arks are the chief weapons of the dark elves. When their coastal homelands were riven by powerful magic and drowned, their enchantments ensured their greatest fortresses were saved, becoming massive vessels to ply the waves, filled with bloodthirsty corsair crews and savage beasts of war.

The Temple of Spite is a vast redoubt, captained by the notorious corsair Duriath Helbane, and is capable of striking at any coastal settlement. Wherever it goes, death and despoliation follow. This book describes the Black Ark and presents ideas for how to escape its confines or, for the truly heroic, endeavor to scupper the ship. Such feats will not be easy, for the Ark is home to numerous regiments of dark elves and all their machinery of war. These factions could either be encountered onboard the Temple of Spite, or somewhere in the wider world pursuing the agenda of the Dread King.
