Fantasy Companion Second Edition is a revised magic and hardware add-on for the Cepheus Universal roleplaying game. It is perfect for expanding that game out to cover historical and fantasy themes ands settings. 

It is a tool-box of options split into five parts:

Low Tech Weapons and Armour – More than 70 knives, swords, axes and more from cultures around the world, many illustrated in colour. Includes ancient armour types, shields and torsion artillery. 

Archaic Firearms – Gunpowder-era weapons for your historical or fantasy settings, with extra depth and detail. Includes a full range of cannon. 

Fast Magic – An entire improvised magic system, complete with new magical skills for creating potions, scrolls and magical items. 

Skills & Characters – Advice on using Cepheus skills in fantasy and historical games, along with a tailored fantasy character creation system, it includes fantasy Roles, and an appropriate advancement system. 

Skills – New options for early combat, including mounted attacks and using OSR monsters in Cepheus Universal.  

Adventuring – Guidelines for sea travel and dungeoneering, as well as hiring mercenaries and retainers. This section also includes morale, fantasy equipment lists and ships.
