In the Shadow of Glory is a two-player epistolary ttrpg of flawed heroes and broken villains. One player embodies a hero who has gone unmatched, and the other player – their arch nemesis. Both unable to thwart the other, and resigning to co-existence. Explore the nostalgic relationship between two long-lost foes that have no one else who truly understands the weight of power.
How to play
Each player takes turns doing the following:
- receive a letter from the other player
- draw cardsto discover the weekly events:
- a mundane event that will affect your alter-ego identity’s life
- a super-powered event that will affect your super-powered identity’s life
- resolve a goal action to progress personal goals
- write and send a letter to your rival.
You’ll only need a deck of cards to play, no dice needed!
