Each coming from comics, role-playing games, books and board games, we all got together because we love to read, play, and create.

Over the past few years, Kickstarter’s Zine Quest movement has played a crucial role in promoting – and bringing back – the roleplaying game Zines and giving new life to the entire industry. 

Zines are awesome. Why shouldn’t we throw in our dice, then?

Things have been brewing at our very game table for a while now, and we finally found the guts to put it into a small-budget TTRPG project so that others – you – can enjoy the world that we are creating.

Welcome to the debut issue of this OSR RPG zine series, and get ready to venture into the perilous realm of Faerie Fire: an original, dark and whimsical fantasy setting, where you’ll be playing as Fireflies, intrepid fairy scavengers on a daring quest for survival. 

Prepare to leave the safety of your lit caravans and enter a world fraught with crooked fae and stalking beasts thorned and corrupted by the Darkness. 
Brutality hangs heavy in the impenetrable gloom where the Darklings dwell.

Faerie Fire – Issue #1 – Dancing Lights is a 60-page RPG Zine filled with fine black and white illustrations bringing its dark setting to life, New Classes and Features to create your Firefly scavenger, and a full set of tools and tables for running a game through the darkness of the lost world of the Tall Folk.
