(RPG PDF Spotlight) 100 Problems for a Friendly Neighbourhood Superhero

100 Problems for a Friendly Neighbourhood Superhero

Systemless Sourcebook by Azukail Games

Superheroes can have problems, just like everyone else, but some of their problems may be related to them being a superhero. This supplement has 100 problems that a superhero could suffer from, many targeting them specifically but others superheroes in general. They range from legal troubles to villains getting close to their normal life to various kinds of objections to their behaviour and accusations of wrongdoing. They can be used as nuisances or as potential adventure hooks, but shouldn’t be overused as the player may feel their character is being persecuted if too many happen at once.

This PDF supports Adobe layers and the page backgrounds and images can be disabled to make printing easier.

Here are some sample results:

  • News show releases a special on the superhero that looks at the amount of damage that’s been caused by their actions and the cost of this.
  • News story is released with an interview with someone claiming to be the superhero’s spouse.
  • Obsessed fan continually hassles the superhero whenever they can, as well as following them around.
  • Op ed article on superheroes that is less than complimentary to them is published, and the superhero is one of the examples used in the article.
  • Ordinary person becomes obsessed with the superhero and attempts to follow them everyone, endangering themselves and others in the process.
