They must collect information, face horrific fiends, rally despondent nobles, infiltrate strange cults, and navigate crippling political stalemates with the sword or the tongue. Fail, and they will face a rising tide of chaos and destruction in a realm already struggling to survive. As bickering earls squabble, they become increasingly blind to the flood of pillage, blight, and shadow.
