Shadowdark Supplement by Ruprecht Games
Give the Priests in your Shadowdark Campaign some life.
The Shadowdark RPG comes with a handful of Gods but they are presented with minimal detail. This book hopes to provide that detail. For each Cult the following details are provided:
- Overview
- Scripture
- Penitence & Funeral Practices
- Rituals & Festivals
- Cult Ranks
- Sects & Orders
- Saints & Heroes
- Common temple layouts/features.
It has fun bits of lore scattered throughout.
These are not actual rules or spells (I’ll leave that up to the Arcane Library). What it is, is color and fluff and hooks that will work for in any Shadowdark campaign. This sort of thing might not matter down in a dungeon but if your campaign ever gets to a town it’ll provide the GM the tools they need to bring the cults and Priests to life and differentiate them from each other.
