Progress Report Issue 7 is a pairing of the old (Klick’s End Remastered) and the new (Frontier Operation). The Klick’s End section features remastered art and writing for Klick’s End and the MR portion of the old Red Alert datasheet – updated for The Changes. In this chapter, you willread how Klick’s End continues to be a blight on the face of Mort. A hideous place, that despite Moral Right’s efforts has yet to turn around in any meaningful way. In fact, the more that MR pushes the more Klick’s End pushes back in retaliation.

In the second part we find out about the Frontier Operation,a new approach to regaining Cannibal Sector One. This means new art, new denizens and pretty much a whole new setting or your players to die in…I mean…play in!

Klick’s End Revisited

Klick’s End is a notorious Sector in the North East of District 4, Inner Downtown, comprising three large Civilian blocks that intersect and create a social hub. It is widely regarded as one of the most dangerous and impoverished regions of Inner Downtown before dropping down further into the domain of serial killers, carnivorous pigs and Carrien. While there are far worse areas to visit for a SLA Operative, it is a dreadful place for a Civilian to inhabit. The Shiver Units patrolling these sectors only pass through Klick’s End sparingly, and its people are very much left to their own devices.

• Overview: details life in the Slums, introducing GMs (and Players) to the Locals, what passes for Recreation, Commerce, the “Quartet,” four Downtown Props that are the worst of the worst and rule Klick’s End.the
• GM Section:<.b> handles different ways to use Klick’s End, from BPNs based there to just stumbling through by chance. This section also covers the Moral Right and their campaign against Klick’s End.
• The Moral Right Division: covers their goal of purifying Klick’s End their organization structure, what they view as their jurisdiction, and provides numerous MR NPCs.
• MR Weapons: gives stats on the gear carried by a typical “Virtue” squad.
• Klick’s End NPCs: stats out a handful of NPCs and introduces a new trait: anosmia. This section ends with three d10 tables randomizing the sights, sounds, and smells of Klick’s End…your players will wish their PCs had anosmia.

The Frontier Operation has come as an alarmingly sudden surprise to the population of Mort, but SLA Industries has been planning this mass migration into the Cannibal Sectors since before Project Red Sky was announced in 908sd.
