Harmas is the second-largest city of Rans and the municipality’s most important port. Its streets are lined with stone and timber-framed houses topped with red tile roofs, many rising several stories high with elegant stained-glass windows catching the sunlight. A tall city wall encircles Harmas, dotted with watchtowers, and six heavily guarded gates offer entrance to those granted permission. At the heart of the city, where two rivers converge, stands the castle, home to the city’s garrison. To the south of the castle lies the bustling harbor, where fishing boats and trading vessels jostle alongside a few sturdy warships. On the northern edge of the city, the grand town hall houses Mayor Wallop Palko.
