Cepheus Engine Scenario by Old School Role Playing
This is an adventure for Cepheus Engine.
Planet URD-23X is a vacuum world on the edge of the Sonora sector. This recently discovered world is in the unexplored sector adjacent to the Sonora. A recent mineral survey team visited this planet and launched probes around it seeking to assess it’s potential worth to mining corporations in the Sonora sector. One of these survey probes noticed something unusual on the planet surface. A metallic object of notable size was indicated in a large crater. What this object might be has not yet been determined.
Henry Carverson of the Arrow Mining Consortium wants answers. He is offering CR 200,000 for a team to visit this world and explore the area noted by the probe. He is particularly interested in alien artifacts or indications of planetary ownership by alien races. He would prefer not to make a claim for this world only to discover that some alien race also claims it. He offers to share the value of any alien artifacts that might be discovered on this world.
