Arketh is the headquarters and primary base of power for the Companions of Roving Doom, an Agrikan fighting order with a reputation for violence and brutality. Shaped by the dogma promulgated by the clerics of the Order of the Pillar of Fire, the Companions see Arketh as a model for an ideal Agrikan society. The town’s streets are clean, orderly, and straight, and kept free from dogs, vagrants, and others seen as detrimental to a culture. The locals are not welcoming of outsiders.
This article describes the settlement’s history, government, religion, economics, and military forces. It includes color GM and player maps of the settlement, detailed descriptions and floor plans for the keep, and brief descriptions of many local craftsmen and other locations of interest.
