(Now Crowdfunding) Driftport: The Wandering City of the Endless Sea

Driftport: The Wandering City of the Endless Sea

by Steven Chabotte

A Mobile Island of Lashed Ships Campaign Setting With New Character Options for 5e

Welcome to Driftport

A gritty seafaring setting for 5e and beyond

Far out on the Endless Sea, a storm-broken pirate ship snared the first of the towing beasts, a living mountain of the deep. With its masts shattered and rigging lost, the crew lashed wrecks to their hull, capturing other ships and adding them to a roving pirate enclave. Over decades, the floating mass grew, shifting from lawless plunder to a strange, chaotic civilization.

Now Driftport spans hundreds of ships, barges, and patched hulls, chained and roped together in a sprawling, unpredictable sprawl. Colossal creatures tow the city from coast to coast, following a semi-predictable trade route. Within its decks and alleys, you’ll find eccentric clans, dangerous politics, strange ocean-born monsters, and a way of life unlike anywhere else.

Driftport is ragged, loud, and alive. It is a place of hard bargains, shifting loyalties, and odd customs, where even the fiercest feud is carried out with a grin over a shared drink of brine-spirit.
