Refinery Station XR‐717 coasts low in an unexplained “Cold Pocket” deep in the cloud lair of CCRD‐835E. This unique feature of the gas giant, along with predictable streams in the zonal jets and the revolutionary magnetic shielding and sonic stabilizers, is what makes the liquid hydrocarbon extraction both possible and profitable. Work on the station is not desirable. Crew are made up of bonded criminals, outcasts, and dregs with nowhere else to go.
One thing it normally is, is uneventful, thanks until the station manager decides to walk out of the station’s airlock, sucked out into the turbulant crushing atmosphere hundreds of thousands of miles in the sky. The only clue a frantically written cryptic message on his cabin wall.
Remember if they can hear you, they can get you. Whatever you do, don’t make a sound.
Echo Chamber is a one-shot adventure for the Mothership TTRPG by Tuesday Knight Games with an unusal and unorthodox foe that becomes more and more deadly over time. Echo Chamber deals in both psycological and body horror, loss and confusion of senses, and potential character death.
