Verona City of Love

Changeling the Dreaming 20th by Storytellers Vault

“Verona City of Love” is a Changeling the Dreaming 20th supplement, a Setting of the city of Verona, in Northeaster Italy, part of the Galacian Confederation.

Verona is an Italian city with around 260,000 inhabitants, the capital of the province of the same name in the Veneto region. It is the most populous city in the region and is located at the northern edge of the Po Valley, along the Adige River and at the foot of the Lessini Mountains. The city has a millennia-old history, and its city’s center is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Verona is also famous for being the setting of William Shakespeare’s tragedy Romeo and Juliet. It is an important cultural, artistic, and tourist hub in northern Italy, with a rich heritage of ancient, medieval, and Renaissance monuments. This city is home to a large number of Changelings who, despite the relatively low permanent population, thrive thanks to the city’s artistic wealth and the high influx of tourists (over 5 million visitors per year, both Italian and international).
The history of the city has always been marked by an inherent duality. An old rhyme that describes the inhabitants of various provinces in the Triveneto region says: “Veneziani, gran Signori; Padovani, gran dotori; Visentini, magna gati; Veronesi… tuti mati […]” Translated loosely to: “Venetians, noble and grand, Paduans, wise with a learned hand. In Vicenza, they feast on cats, In Verona… they’ve all gone bats! […]” — and this label of “madness” has always been seen as accurate.

This Book contains:

• A complete History of Verona from the point of view of the Kithain.
• Geographical insight of Verona (Mundane and the Near Dreaming).
• Statistics for NPCs and Chimeras that live in the City.
• Curiosities and Legends of this City with suggestions to Run Chronicles set in it.
• A brand new Kith: the Anguane a water linked creature with enchanting voices.

Verona City of Love is available through DriveThruRPG in PDF.
