2018 ce: Washington State, USA. In Jefferson County, west of Port Townsend, a small city called Faltra surrounds a private for-profit college. Like Seattle and its underground, this community rose atop and buried beneath it the incinerated ruins of an older settlement. It hides a forgotten and violent history that threatens to repeat itself.
Someone has discovered, reenacted, and bastardized an ancient Greek Dionysian ritual. They’ve summoned something strange and terrible. Something wrong. The investigators need to discover what this thing is—and who is behind it.
There have been victims. There will be more. If the investigators cannot discover the truth, they and the people of Faltra will burn.
