Vampire: The Jazz Age

Vampire: The Masquerade Setting by Storytellers Vault / White Wolf

The year is 1929. Illegal gin flows freely, underground jazz clubs never close, and the undead walk unnoticed through a world dancing on the edge of collapse. Amid the glitz and glam of Hollywood and the speakeasies and the rise of organized crime, ancient Kindred rivalries flare beneath the surface as modern technology begins to eclipse the power of the Elders. Then, when The Great Depression hits, entire empires are wiped away leaving an open playing field for the most ambitious, the most cunning, and the most ruthless.

In this historical setting, taking place from 1918 – 1938, covering the period between World War I and World II, players navigate a volatile, post-Great War world of bootleg empires, spiritualist cults, and blood-soaked cabarets that transitions into a nearly apocalyptic Depression era of Hoovervilles and empty banks.

Whether your Coterie rubs elbows with Toreador jazz singers, clashes with Brujah revolutionaries, or uncovers forbidden secrets behind Harlem’s velvet curtain, one thing is certain: the music is loud, the city is alive, and something in the darkness is listening…
