Modern Call of Cthulhu Scenario Anthology by Miskatonic Repository / Chaosium
These are modern-day scenarios for Call of Cthulhu, with the common theme of transcending the known plane of existence for humans, and entering the realm of unknown horrors – be it of own volition, by magical trickery, or by forces we were never meant to fathom. The themes explored are reality TV shows, office politics, involuntary time travel, social media influencers, urban exploration, insurance policies, and dimensional portals. The scenarios are not interconnected, nor are they contradictory. Most are deliberately light on exact dates and geographical locations, giving Keepers the possibility of slotting them into ongoing campaigns or using them as starting points for new investigators.
Shattered Reality is an 86-page anthology of 7 scenarios suitable for 1 Game Master and 4-5 players. Estimated playing time: 20-30 hours. It includes 17 Pre-Generated Characters, Stats for NPCs, New Monsters and plenty of Handouts & Maps.
