The Threshold is a riotous punk club in a popular part of town. However, after a tragic on-stage death, the club has been plagued by a series of bizarre incidents. Customers have vanished without a trace, strange music echoes through the sound system even when it is unplugged, and an eerie buzzing noises can be heard in the walls.
The club’s owner, Jamie “Skidz” Ryder, is trying to find the truth behind these mysterious events and get his club back to normal. In the meantime, the investigators have arrived at The Threshold for their own reasons and quickly find themselves caught up in a night they won’t forget, if they survive.
Dead Beats is a one shot scenario designed to be played in one session with little prep time. It is location agnostic and can be fit into any town or city. It could even be modified to fit into a different era or used as a side scenario for a bigger campaign.
The pdf contains a 20 page scenario with a map, a host of original artwork and a set of pregen characters designed for the setting.
