Call of Cthulhu Scenario by Steen Stahlhut / Miskatonic Repository
During the warm summer of 1914, the isolated small, New England town of Hope’s End is plagued by strange occurrences. People seem to succumb to some sort of darkness and a vast part of the town’s population has died under great suffering during the last month.
What is going on?
Can the investigators make a difference and save the ill fated town or will they too be swallowed by the darkness before they can figure out what is causing this outbreak of human destruction?
Hope’s End is designed for four investigators but could be played with 2-6 player characters, It includes 12 handouts and four pre-generated investigators which have been custom designed for the endeavors that unfold.
The location could easily be moved to any other remote location in the world. The important thing for the scenario is that the town is remote.
Depending on the level of experience of the players, the scenario should be playable in 1-3 sessions
Hope’s End is available through DriveThruRPG in PDF.
