RuneQuest Scenario by Sean Fitzgerald as part of the Jonstown Compendium by Chaosium
Two young lovers, engaged to be married, have gone missing and are assumed dead. The families have an old and bitter rivalry and now one has accused the other of secret murder, bringing a lawsuit at the yearly Thing which if proven could result in bankruptcy and outlawry, or blood feud and kinstrife. Can the adventurers find evidence to mount a successful defense and prevent more bloodshed and violence?
This scenario is set in central Sartar but can be adapted moved to any location near a river or stream.
