I hadn’t been to The Bull & Gate, in Kentish Town, for a gig for a few years. It was a venue I always enjoyed when I’d been more regularly in the early 90’s. Very much a “spit and sawdust” feel in the back rooms where the gigs were held. I’d seen a few good bands there,

Todays return was due to Sparrowman, whose lead singer, Gunther, was a good friend of mine. I’d seen them live locally to were we all lived the previous month (GIG 335) but tonights gig saw us travel the handful of stops south on the Underground on a Friday night, before a trip to the Electric Ballroom in Camden.

There was quite a crowd of us there again supporting Gunther and the band and they put on an excellent show. Certainly as good as their June gig at The Turrets.
